The Flood Building By Max, Thomas and Jade

The first thing we noticed is that the Flood Building is uniquely shaped. It is triangular with one curved corner. Our voices echoed inside it when we said anything. The floor and staircases are made out of marble and the walls are made of sandstone. There are pictures on the wall of the Silver Kings who were people that worked in the silver mines.

The Flood Building is a local landmark in downtown San Francisco. When it was built, it was the tallest building in the city. It is important because it survived the 1906 earthquake and fire with little damage. The Flood Building has a very interesting history.
